Hey Joe... Hey Joe, The brakes on my 1994 Discovery were non existant when I bought it. I've fitted a new master cylinder and the brakes are brilliant except that I now get a build up of pressure in the system and the brakes stay on. Is this a fault with the master cylinder? I can release the pressure through a bleed valve and its okay for a short while.Thanks.
- Joe says... Check the bleed on the ABS. Also, was the master cylinder new or re-manufactured? Check the rubber brake lines because they are known to swell closed. And lastly, make sure you are using the correct brake fluid. Hope that heads you in the right direction. LRJ
